The most famous flavour in all of Jamaica; the unmistakable, spicy jerk aroma carries across the island on the sweet, cool breeze. Made from a traditional mixture of scallions, hot peppers, pimento, nutmeg and thyme, Tropical Sun’s Great Taste Award winning jerk seasoning is made to an authentic Caribbean recipe by the people of Central Village, Jamaica.
Used by jerk shacks worldwide, our seasoning paste allows you to create authentic jerk foods at home. No chef required!


To make a basic jerk marinade, mix the jerk seasoning paste with equal parts olive oil. Massage the mixture into your meat, tofu or veggies and allow to marinate in the fridge overnight or for at least 15 mins

Ingredients

Scallions, Hot Peppers, Salt, Black Pepper, Pimento, Nutmeg, Citric Acid, Sugar, Thyme.

Directions

To get the heart and soul of Jamaica into your jerk cooking, slit the meat and rub in 2 tablespoons of our seasoning for every 500 g of chicken, meat or fish. Ideally marinate overnight before barbequing, grilling or slowly roasting. Then relax, eat and enjoy!
